Coronavirus 2021

JANUARY 24 2021: Sadly, there is no prospect of the choir resuming performances any time soon.  However, we have been active both in and out of the remote rehearsal room.  We have been conducting online sectional rehearsals, via Zoom, almost since since Covid struck.  We have been adding new pieces to our repertoire and have been singing with our customary gusto.  Outside, the choir walking group continued with its outings for as long as permitted, as did the Beer and Ditties team.

We have also been keeping a tab of vaccines and reckon that about one-third of the choir have now received their first doses (and at  least one even got the second!)  We have been making provisional plans for concerts before the summer break, but concede that is an optimistic view, and September is a more likely date for our return.  As soon as we have further news we will post it here and on our Concerts page.  Until then, stay safe!
